A Relaxing Weekend At The Berkeley Suites In Bristol

Lunar New Year was just in a few days and since I wouldn’t be back home in Malaysia this time around, I thought it would be nice to have a staycation outside the usual gloomy student accommodation I’m bound to for the term. The Berkeley Suites in Clifton was ideal. It had the luxury of a hotel and the convenience of an apartment, it didn’t take long to feel utterly pampered and right at home.

LOCATION

The location is prime. Situated between the hustling city centre and serene Clifton, I had the best of both worlds. Nights out would just be down Park Street and fancy brunches the next day in the beautiful neighbourhood of Clifton.

ROOMS

The rooms were sectioned into two. One for the living area and the other for the bedroom. The space was well decorated with a modern interior and a twist of vintage. It had a spacious and comfortable living area equipped with large windows, high ceiling, fireplace, pantry and more. The coolest touch to these rooms were the “moving art”. A state of the art cinema projector that can be used to view video painting, free view TV or be connected to a laptop for a movie night in.

AMENITIES

The suite was equipped with modern bespoke kitchenette. From a mini convection hob, microwave, kettle, glasses and cups for any sort of beverage to a mini fridge filled with soft drinks & alcohol. The suite was also kind enough to provide complimentary fruits and sherry that really made my stay top notch.

All in all I really enjoyed my weekend at The Berkeley Suites, I’d give it a huge thumbs up for the attentive staff, amazing facilities and comfort. It’s a highly recommended from me!
