An Adventure Through Selangor & Perak

Went on a triple date road trip with Daniel, Mon, Desmond, Sheryl and Redza. It was pretty much my idea to go on a road trip with Redza for Valentine's Day but it ended up becoming a discussion with the girls because they didn't know what to do for their boyfriends on Valentine's Day. A discussion quickly became a plan to go on a triple date road trip to watch the sunrise at a hill in Kota Kubu Bharu where Redza used to skate at and Ipoh for food & fun.

We woke up at 4am just to leave at 5am sharp in time to catch the sunrise. The view was phenomenal and it went perfectly with amazing company.

There were photographers seated around the hill with their gigantic cameras just to capture the sunrise. Apparently Redza's secret spot is not the best kept secret after all.

After the sunrise, we continued our journey to Ipoh. We stopped at one of the famous Ipoh Hor Fun coffee shops - Restoran Thean Chun for lunch before we headed to the theme park.

The place was super packed and the food took quite a while but it was definetly worth the wait. We stuffed ourselves and headed back on the road.

En route to Lost World Of Tambun. It was a really hot day and thank god for the water park, would've had a heat stroke without it.

P.S. I never understood Malaysian theme parks, they just really can't be an outdoor thing man. It's too hot out here!!!

We went from the water park to the roller coasters. We even watched a tiger show (wink wink) and went to the petting zoo.

Not a lot of photos because we only carried the GoPro around and not our phones. Took a ton of videos that'll probably give you a headache because it's literally all over the place but check the travel vlog embed below out!

Dinner was at a coffee shop nearby, I don't remember the name because we gave up on looking for the famous good stuff around town after such a long day. Nevertheless, the food was good and it was pretty cheap.

Headed home after a long day, the guys took turns to drive and nap. It was definetly a road trip to remember. Cheers to more fun filled adventures!
