Dining At Aubaine In Selfridges, London
We started off with Scallops, Seven & Wye Smoked Salmon with Cornish Crab and Truffle & Parmesan Fries. it was a taste of modern France with a nod to tradition.
To top it all off, we had a creamy Vanilla Crème Brûlée to share. It was definitely the icing on the cake, so creamy and a must when you’re at a French restaurant.
The ingredients used throughout were impeccable, you can definitely tell how fresh it is with every bite. Service was thoughtful and we had such a great time!
You can’t deny that the best kind of date involves food! Felix & I were treated to the best of French culinary creativity at Aubaine in Selfridges over the weekend. It was simple yet sophisticated, our heart & soul were undeniably content.
You know I can never resist lobster when it’s on the menu so I had to order the Lobster Spaghetti. It was moorish and had an addictive tang to it from the tomatoes.
Felix on the other hand loves a good steak. The Wagyu Sando he ordered was inspired by modern Japanese cuisine which just melted in your mouth with every bite. Who knew a simple sandwich could be so good?!
