It's been a while and I'm back with a new place to wine & dine at! I had a whole day of events last Saturday and decided to treat myself at this restaurant I found in Kuchai Lama with some fine wine and fusion food. La'Vin Winery used to be just a winery owned by the co-owner's sister but ever since he decided to help out, he has turned it into a restaurant that serves good food & exquisite wine.

Located in Kuchai Lama, a part of KL where people usually forget about. La'Vin Winery's customers are usually from around the area but Vincent is looking to expand his horizons by having people from the main city and even PJ to drop by! Believe me when I say this, Redza & I literally dropped our jaws when we found out we had to drive all the way there for food but we had such an adventure on the way. Not to mention, we caught a ton of Pokemon on our many pit stops on the way to Kuchai Lama. I find eating an adventure, and that you should never just get comfortable with what you know. Expand your horizons and literally go FIND FOOD.

Porkies Nasi Lemak

Something you don't have everyday. They've put together their own rendition of everyone's favorite Nasi Lemak and made it a fusion between the Western pork belly and Rendang, yum!!

This platter had everything I loved! From the dips to the little tapas at the side, this could have been my main dish if Vincent wasn't so generous with the food he offered us. So much love!

The house's best selling pork chop with mash potato & bacon bits as the side. Very tasteful and rustic food.

By far my favorite wine pairing. Everything blended in perfectly with one another, eating everything together and having a sip of wine later just made the flavors all come together.
