Stylecon Asia 2016 (Day 1)

The first ever Stylecon Asia has finally landed in Malaysia! Think Beautycon LA but the Asian planned and organised version.

Mon & I were late because Daniel & her woke up late...decided to spam their photo booth while they were busy getting ready.

Stylecon Asia invited amazing & successful beauty and fashion bloggers + YouTubers such as Bubzbeauty, Mina Rosli, Isabella Kuan, Emily Quak etc. to talk about their success in what they do best. It was honestly very inspiring to know how they started and where they are now. This proves that passion can take you far and although many think that being a blogger or YouTuber is a "bimbotic" career, I can honestly speak for all of us in that room that it is not easy to turn your passion into an actual career. It takes a ton of hard work, patience, rejection and perseverance to get to where you want to be. It's not a brainless career just because we do what we love. Filming, editing, producing and script writing all by yourself is not easy but just look at how many amazing bloggers and YouTubers out there managed to pull through. I'm honestly so inspired by all of them!

Obligated to take a ton of pictures with everyone during lunch break.

After lunch, Bubz did a K-stye and K-Pop inspired make up tutorial for one of the lucky audience. She transformed the lucky girl into a Korean inspired beauty, it was really sweet of her. Throughout the makeover, she even got her assistants to pass the mic around the floor just so she could have us introduce ourselves to get to know us better.

Next up was a demonstration by Number76. They did a great job making over the girls that were modelling for them.

We even had stylists from Zalora styling us into boho chic and glam beauties. Mon and I volunteered to be mannequins/models for the show and tell. Hence, the cute kimono cardigans and accessories.

A ton of love to Gushcloud for inviting me and here's to day 1 of Stylecon Asia! I met a lot of lovely and creative minds today, stay tuned for day 2!
