Dining With Mommy Dearest
It's been awhile since I've had my last food adventure, my usual companions would either be busy or transport-less *sigh*. Thankfully, mommy dearest decided to bring me to Mr & Ms in Oasis Square, Ara Damansara one fine noon for lunch.
I love the chilled ambiance they had going on in the cafe. Perfect for a quiet afternoon with good company.

no kidding, best Seafood Aglio Olio I've ever tasted. The big ass fresh water prawn got me hooked af.
As for this...not so. I like my burgers unique and this was pretty normal. Tasted like something I would have been able to pull out of the kitchen in 10 minutes, tops.
I didn't get to try much because there was only two of us eating and we don't exactly have the biggest appetite. I'm looking forward to going back, missing the pasta x129389804832 and I'd definitely love to try something else off the menu this time.

Fast forward to a few days later where I tried Thursvys with Sheng Wei & his brother.
This place is definitely not for proper meals, especially when you're really hungry. They're more towards light meals & coffee and that didn't really fill us up for lunch. I liked the sandwich, but the bruschetta was too green for me that I ended up feeling like a cow grazing on bread...
I think I would come over for a cup of coffee and to finish off assignments here the next time. The ambiance is pretty chilled here and just how I like it.

During one of the weekends, mom & I headed to The Good Batch for lunch.
Kaya Toast Cake, was pretty good!
Now this was actual lunch material food, I enjoyed every bit of my meal + stealing from my mom's plate. They have a pinch of almost every country's flavour, including our very own on their menu. I love how they play with the uniqueness of different kinds of food. I can definitely see why it was so packed that afternoon.

Days later, mom & I went to Ben's (inside B.I.G.) @ Publika for lunch.
I love love love the freshly baked rock salt & rosemary bread to death (although i forgot the name of the bread *sad*). The rice made me realise how I really wouldn't be able to pull through if I were to be vegetarian one day...haha! Don't get me wrong, it was good but I would definitely have preferred some meat to it (such a barbarian...). The food overall was delicious, mom loved her salad btw. The choices were unlimited and the food was delish~ There was an oyster bar there too, need to head back there one day for it ^_^ heard it's pretty good!

Fast forward again, breakfast at Pickle & Fig with mother & son (brother).
I like cafes like these. I like it when they have the ambiance I enjoy and a whole lot of variety to their menu. Maybe I'm just born to be a certified fat ass but I really do like it when a nice cafe has a variety of good food to it aside from it's beverages.
Breakfast was simple and delicious. They served churros here and as a certified fattie, it was a must to order of course. I've missed it since my trip to Aussie and I haven't found any that was as good as the one I had there :( sorry P&F, but it was still good tho!
